The forest has always been a place of mystery and fantasy, yet of the purest reality of beauty that the natural world can provide us. For those who explore the exquisite nature of forests and trees through photography, you are welcome here.
Hello, all, and welcome to Forest-Borne, a group designed for all who love the forest and the secrets that it holds.
Some introduction- My name is Autumn, and I am a novelist and aspiring photographer. For this reason, I spend a lot of my time doing observation on the world. One of my the most breathtaking natural scenes that I love to experience is the forest. It never ceases to amaze me how in every season, in every place, trees are always so incredibly beautiful and natural. This group is for those who love trees as much as I do, for the display of the forest's secrets and magical beauty in every time and place.
Just a couple of rules for you all...
Photography is the primary medium in this group. Digital and traditional art will be accepted as well, but only if it is done in a realistic fashion.
People and animals are allowed to be in the photographs, but they shouldn't be the primary focus of the scene. The same goes for floral subjects- only tree-related flower shots, please. In this group, subjects are meant to enhance the beauty of the forest scene, not to dominate it.
Please, please, submit deviations into the correct folder. So far everyone has been fabulous about this- let's keep it up! The limit is three deviations per day, in any folder except for Featured, in which particularly well-done deviations will be submitted. If you've seen a deviation in our group that you think deserves this special title, feel free to message me.
As far as submitting Favourites goes, the limit is also three submissions per day. Please do not submit your own work into Favourites. The point is to highlight the work of others!
Please respect everyone. Comments on others' works are appreciated, but must be appropriate and kind-spirited. Remember, treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
If you need any clarification on anything, please contact me. I'm always up to all sorts of questions and comments!
